1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (T&C) define the rights and obligations between the seller (Mintaka Design) and the buyer (customer) when purchasing goods and services through the online store.
By using this website, the user confirms that they agree with these T&C.

2. Definitions
Seller: Mintaka Home Design, operating the online store selling furniture, decorations, and consultations.
Buyer: an individual or legal entity ordering goods or services via the online store.
Goods / Products: furniture, decorations, and other products offered by the store.
Services / Consultations: interior consultations, advice, and services related to installation or assembly.

3. Orders and Contract Formation
Orders are placed through the online store.
The purchase contract or service agreement is concluded upon confirmation by the seller (e.g., by email).
The seller reserves the right to reject an order, especially if the goods are not in stock or the order contains incorrect information.
For consultations, the order is confirmed when the seller confirms the date and price.

4. Prices and Payment
Prices include VAT and are valid at the time of order.
Payment can be made via bank transfer, online card, or cash on delivery (if available).
The seller reserves the right to change prices, but this does not affect confirmed orders.
For consultations, payment can be made in advance or according to the agreed date.

5. Delivery of Goods and Services
Goods are delivered to the address provided by the buyer.
Delivery time: usually 5–21 days, depending on product type and availability.
The seller is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier.
Consultations take place according to the agreed date, in person or online.
The buyer must be ready and available at the agreed consultation time.
Cancellation or rescheduling of consultations is possible no later than 24 hours before the scheduled time. Late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee.

6. Receipt and Inspection of Goods
The buyer is obliged to check the goods upon receipt (quantity, condition, damages).
If any damage or defects are found, the buyer must contact the seller immediately at email: info@mintakahome.com.

7. Order Cancellation
The buyer may cancel the order before confirmation by the seller without a fee.
After confirmation, a cancellation fee may apply for made-to-order products or consultations.
The seller reserves the right to cancel an order due to unavailability of goods or other objective reasons.

8. Withdrawal from Contract
The buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason (applies to EU consumers).
The goods must be undamaged, unused, and in the original packaging.
The buyer bears the cost of returning the goods unless agreed otherwise.
Made-to-order or customized goods cannot be returned if not contrary to law.

Withdrawal from Contract
The consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
This right does not apply to goods that:
- are made to order,
- are customized according to the consumer's specific requirements,
- are adapted based on the consumer's choice of dimensions, materials, colors, finishes, or other individual specifications,
especially in the case of custom-made furniture.
This exception is in accordance with applicable EU consumer protection legislation.

9. Complaints
Complaints are handled in accordance with consumer protection laws.
The buyer must submit the complaint via email or post including: full name / company name, order number, description of the defect, and photos if possible.
The seller resolves the complaint within 30 days.

10. Personal Data Protection (GDPR)
Personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR and Slovak law No. 18/2018.
Data is used solely for order fulfillment, delivery, consultations, and legal obligations.
Customer rights: access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, withdrawal of marketing consent.
Data is kept only for the duration necessary for processing or by law (e.g., accounting – 10 years).
Cookies: we use cookies to improve functionality, analytics, and marketing. Users can reject or manage cookies in their browser settings.

11. Liability and Website Errors
The seller is not responsible for errors in product descriptions or prices.
The seller reserves the right to update products and prices at any time.

12. Final Provisions
These T&C are valid from [date].
The seller reserves the right to modify or update the T&C at any time.
Disputes are governed by Slovak law.
EU consumer protection regulations also apply for sales within the EU.
